It’s officially the season to curl up with a bowl of pasta (with half a block of cheese on top) and stick a good series on. Which means one thing, and one thing only – Christmas is on its way! It sneaks up oh-so-quickly, so we’ve put together a few smart ways to start the season...
1. Decide who’s hosting
One question, lots of answers (and tricky relatives). Once you’ve navigated your way through this, you’re half way there!
2. Crack out the calendar
Parties, family gatherings, school events – December is one very busy month; so make your life easier by getting it all in the diary now. In pencil, of course.
3. Begin the food prep
Get going with the Christmas pudding, as well as gravy and stuffing, which freeze well and can be re-heated on the day. A little bit Blue Peter – “here’s one I made earlier”.
4. Start shopping!
There’s no time like the present. Make a list of everyone you need to buy for, think about what they’d like – and head out to the shops before everyone else does. Sneaky.
