Honouring the Prince's Trust 'Celebrate Success' winners

HomeSense and TK Maxx sponsors the ‘Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards‘!

Wednesday 15th March – oh, what an amazing afternoon! As proud sponsors of the ‘Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards 2017’, HomeSense and TK Maxx were invited to join the celebrations.

The red carpet was rolled out at the London Palladium to welcome HRH The Prince of Wales, celebrity ambassadors, and excited families, to honour the achievements of young people, who have succeeded against the odds and improved their chances in life.

The awards were hosted by Ant and Dec and every unique story was extraordinary and wonderfully heart-warming.

Each individual award was presented by loyal supporters of the Trust including Philip Schofield, Emelia Fox, and HomeSense’s very own president Louise Greenlees, who was given the privilege of presenting the HomeSense Young Achiever of the Year award.

It was a fabulous afternoon highlighting the amazing work of the Trust.   As one winner expressed its importance, “The Prince’s Trust is not just a charity, it’s a family.” One we’re very proud to be a part of.

As part of our commitment to support vulnerable children and young people in fulfilling their potential, HomeSense appointed The Prince’s Trust as their national charity partner. Through the partnership, HomeSense is supporting the development of the Prince's Trust newly formed Achieve programme; a personal development course aimed to re-engage 13 to 19-year-olds with education.

Store associates and customers from across HomeSense’s 44 UK stores are fundraising to support more than 1500 young people across the UK develop the skills and confidence needed to engage and succeed in education, through relevant, engaging and informal learning.
