HOW TO THROW A GARDEN PARTY (FOR A LOT LESS!)

Spring is here and it’s National Garden Week, which means it’s the perfect time to start planning a little outdoor get together. Whether it’s a family barbecue or a fun evening with friends, a garden party is a great way to embrace the changing seasons. To get you feeling inspired, we’ve put together some top tips…

Dazzling decorations
Turn your back garden into a cosy haven with lots of our gorgeous cushions, throws and blankets from around the world – so you can keep the party going even when it gets a little chilly. String up bunting from trees or across your trellis and add vases full of flowers from your garden (or cheat with a bunch of our beautiful faux flowers!).

The light and soul
Create a cosy atmosphere at your gathering by filling the space with all kinds of lighting. Fill your table with beautiful ornate lanterns, candles of all shapes and sizes – and don’t forget to string up some outdoor fairy lights.

Party-starting plates
There’s no better excuse to invest in vibrant, beautiful tableware than when you’re throwing a garden party. Think colourful sharing plates, patterned bowls and gorgeous glasses – then all you need to do is decide what to put in them!
